Dharma Center of America
(DCA), a non-profit, was started in 2017 to promote volunteerism in the Indo-American youth while serving the needy in the community. DCA has currently raised more than $20,000 to help supply hot meals and groceries to individuals and organizations affected by the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis. DCA is running a GoFundMe campaign to collect donations from the community. While helping these organizations feed those in need, DCA is also helping local businesses to survive the economic challenges. DCA is purchasing food from local restaurants and surrounding areas, to supply food to the shelters. We also have volunteers who cook and deliver food to the needy, the first responders including nurses and doctors in hospitals.
